Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. John Sung brings a warm, community-focused approach to dentistry. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Sydney. After returning home to Canada, he achieved full registration with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals and now proudly serves patients across the Lower Mainland.

Dr. Sung provides a comprehensive range of general dentistry services, including restorative, preventive and cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, complex root canal treatments and wisdom teeth surgical removal. with a strong focus on comfort, communication, and trust. He is known for his gentle manner and the time he takes to understand each patient’s concerns, goals, and questions. Whether treating adults, seniors, or children, his priority is to make every visit feel relaxed, positive, and personalized.

He speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which allows him to connect with and care for patients from diverse backgrounds in the language they feel most at ease. Dr. Sung is committed to continued professional growth and is actively expanding his skills through ongoing training at the Prime Education Implant Center.

Dr. Sung is currently welcoming new patients, including those covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). He looks forward to building long-term relationships and helping families achieve healthy, confident smiles in a supportive and caring environment.
