Dr. Mehrnoush Azimi is the owner and principal dentist at Gentle Dental Burnaby. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2010, after first earning her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2003, graduating with honours. She has been caring for families across the Lower Mainland for more than 15 years and has proudly led Gentle Dental since 2020.

She is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, BC College of Oral Health Professionals, British Columbia Dental Association, the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), Aligntech Institute, and the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics. She is also Bioclear-certified and an experienced Invisalign provider.

Dr. Azimi is committed to providing dentistry that is modern, gentle, and truly patient-centered. Her calm, reassuring manner helps even the most anxious patients feel safe, supported, and at ease during their visit. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where patients feel at ease and make informed decisions about their oral health. Whether someone needs a routine check-up, a filling, cosmetic enhancements, or more advanced treatments like crowns, implants, or complex root canal treatments , Dr. Azimi approaches every appointment with patience, kindness, and exceptional care. 

Dr. Azimi has completed extensive advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign, allowing her to help patients achieve beautiful, natural-looking smiles. She loves using modern digital tools such as digital scanners and digital smile design to make treatment more comfortable, and personalized. With her eye for detail, she creates smile transformations that look great and feel natural
