The CDCP is a new federal program that helps Canadians without private dental insurance access essential dental care at reduced costs. It’s designed to make preventive, basic, and restorative treatments more affordable for eligible individuals and families.

You may be eligible if you:

• Live in Canada,

• Have an annual family income of less than $90,000, and

• Do not have access to private dental insurance.

Eligibility is verified by the Government of Canada through your tax records.

The plan covers a wide range of services, including:

• Exams, X-rays, and cleanings

• Fillings and root canal Treatment

• Extractions

• Crowns, and dentures

• Fluoride and sealants

• Oral surgery and medically necessary sedation

Some specialized or advanced procedures may require preauthorization before being performed.

At this time, we are not charging any extra for basic treatments that are covered 100% under your CDCP plan.

No — Burnaby Gentle Dental bills CDCP directly for all covered services. You won’t need to make upfront payments for treatments that are approved under your plan.
